Boardview formats BoardFix opens

Start free- .brdBRD is the most common boardview extension, and several unrelated formats share it: the binary Apple-style board file, the obfuscated binary BRD found on many laptop boards, the classic text BRD/BRD2 (BRDOUT, NETS, PARTS, PINS sections), Jet BRD and Zuken CR-5000/CR-8000 exports.
- .bvrBVR is a boardview format from the BDV BoardView family, met in both its newer BVR3 revision and older variants.
- .bdvBDV is an ASC-style boardview: inside are the format, pins and nails sections that describe the board outline, every pin with its net, and the test points.
- .tvwTVW is a binary boardview format widely circulated for laptop and desktop motherboards.
- .fzFZ is a compressed or encrypted boardview (FusionView / PC6 lineage: zlib-packed or RC6-encrypted).
- .cadCAD files in board repair are text exports from PCB design tools: GenCAD 1.4, Mentor Neutral, or Fabmaster Layout ASC (the one that starts with an A!REFDES header).
- .grGR is a text boardview format (Great_Guo).
- .cstCST is a binary boardview format.
- .ascASC here means Fabmaster ASC exports, and they come in four kinds: pins.asc, nails.asc, parts.asc and a Net Listing.
- .bv2BV2 is a Fabmaster in-circuit-test (ICT) export in text form, with #Layout# and #Nail# sections.
- .pcb .xzzPCB and XZZ files in repair are almost always XZZPCB boardviews (XinZhiZao).
